Health Screening
Health screening is concerned with fitness for work.
Pre employment assessments
We undertake pre employment screening by questionnaire. This includes a question set which can be tailored to your specific requirements. It includes an assessment of disability enabling the employer to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act. We subsequently provide a certificate indicating fitness to work, or a recommendation regarding adjustments that may need to be considered to enable the person to work.
Driving Medical Examinations
We are able to undertake various screening tests for specific types of work such as Fork Lift Truck Driving, LGV or PCV driving and Airside Driving.
Vision Screening
We are also able to undertake vision screening tests for occupational activities including Display Screen use and inspection work.
Food handlers
We are able to check the health of food handlers, especially if they become unwell.
Night Workers
Night workers are entitled to a health assessment under the Working Time Regulations. We are able to undertake these assessments.
Confined Space Medical Examination
We are able to undertake a full assessment including a test of Aerobic Capacity (Chester Step Test). A certificate of fitness can be provided. In other instances we are able to undertake a more limited assessment and we are able to then provide a certificate of examination.
Health Promotion
We are able to provide health screening in support of health promotion activities in the workplace. Our Mini Health Screens are popular with employers and employees alike.

Executive Medical Examination
We undertake Executive Medical Examinations at our Pease Pottage clinic which include:
Height / weight for Body Mass Index
Blood pressure
Urine test
ECG
Hearing Test
Pulmonary Function Test
Vision Screening Test
Blood tests including full haematology, biochemistry and other tests including lipid profile, thyroid function and PSA.
Occult Blood Test
Other tests can be arranged where indicated.
Time is allowed for a consultation with one of our specialist doctors during which you can discuss medical problems. A full report is provided and recommendations made regarding health and lifestyle.
